About
Hi! I am Monika. A graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Painting. A lover of objects made by human hands, naive and imperfect forms, and sometimes on the contrary – intricate and detailed artifacts reflecting human nature.
Why jewelry? Years of searching for a language in art that would best reflect the values that are important to me have led me here. I associated the art represented by painting, sculpture and other classical forms of expression, although beautiful and undoubtedly significant, with something inaccessible. I wanted to create objects close to the body, which would accompany everyday life and become a record of memories and experiences.
For the love of handicraft.
I run a studio in Warsaw. I design and make my own jewelry. I also cooperate with subcontractors, including a casting and galvanizing workshop, carrying out some of the work there – this is closely related to the metal processing technique in which a given collection is created. I perceive my jewelry as sculptural objects, I think of them as objects marked by the idea of art, which are also utilitarian objects that meet the need for a close, even intimate relationship between man and work.

Arts and crafts statement:
FOR THE PLANET’S CARE
I care about minimizing the negative impact on the environment while fulfilling my need to create. Silver for making jewelry comes from recycling. I do not run a warehouse, I do not collect, I do not overproduce. The packaging in which I send orders is reusable. I plan to introduce more environmentally optimal solutions as the studio develops.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each piece of jewelry passes through my hands. I am responsible for the design, execution and final effect. I solder, shape, and polish in the privacy of my studio. I want there to be a person behind the product you buy from me.
NO EXCLUSIONS
My designs have no gender. In the case of selected designs, the sizing has been specified as it is closely related to the project – sometimes changing the size may adversely affect the final effect of the product. However, I assure you that, at your individual request, I will discuss the project with you and together we will look for the optimal solution if your order goes beyond the accepted frame (size). I strive to ensure that my designs are inclusive, universal and accessible to everyone.
CONTRARY TO PRESENT TRENDS
I do not create based on the analysis of trends, with the aim of adapting to the prevailing fashion. I create out of the need of my heart. I want my works to be universal, timeless and artistically intriguing.
